Call for Papers

International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science

We plan to publish full versions of selected papers in the International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit their manuscripts after the conference. The manuscript should be no more than 20 pages using the IJFCS style file, which can be downloaded from the IJFCS web page. The submission due will be February 28, 2010.

IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems

Special Section on Parallel and Distributed Computing and Networking

The IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems announces a forthcoming Special Section on “Parallel and Distributed Computing and Networking” to be published in December, 2010. The objective of this special section is to publish and overview recent progress in the interdisciplinary area of Parallel and Distributed Computing and Networking. This special section will include papers based on the presentation at the 10th International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing, Applications and Technologies (PDCAT 09) and papers applied for this call for papers. All submitted papers are subjected to the same review process as those papers accepted for publication in the regular issues.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to

  1. Algorithms and Applications (e.g., Parallel/distributed algorithms, Data mining and web mining algorithms, Image processing and computer graphics, and Bioinformatics),
  2. Hardware and Architectures (e.g., Parallel computing systems, Cluster computing, Grid computing systems, and Reconfigurable architecture),
  3. Distributed Systems and Networking (e.g., Interconnection and computer networks Ubiquitous computing systems, P2P networks, and Wireless networks and mobile computing),
  4. Software Systems and Technologies (e.g., Web services and Internet computing, Agent technologies, Distributed Operating systems, and Parallelizing compilers).
